Subway® fans can score at $1 Pulled Pork Footlong Sub ahead of Origin game one

To celebrate the launch of their new mouth-watering Low’n’Slow BBQ Pulled Pork, Subway® is offering footy fans the ultimate pre-game score with a $1 Subway Footlong®!  

From 5pm Tuesday 8 June, fans at the sandwich giant’s Sydney Olympic Park restaurant will be able to grab a BBQ Pulled Pork Subway Footlong® for just a gold coin! It’s first in best fed though, with only 1,000 up for grabs.

Fans at Sydney Olympic Park will also be treated to a Subway® experience like no other, as the restaurant transforms into a SUBBBQ.

They’ll also be able to get their hands on free Subway® cookies and even some Subway® merch!

Subway® Head of Marketing, Rodica Titeica, says the deal is perfect to heat up the 2022 State of Origin series-opener.

“As restrictions continue to ease across the country, we’re excited to see Australians return to their favourite sporting events! And we want to celebrate with them,” says Ms Titeica.

Whether you’re blue, maroon, or green and yellow, there’s plenty to barrack for.

“Our BBQ Pulled Pork really is the ultimate Winter warmer,” Ms Titeica says. “What’s better fuel for a Winter night at the football than a smoky juicy pulled pork sandwich?”
